Seeing Reality
I treasure my world today. I notice the little things. I look for magic and beauty and when I see it, I stay a little longer. I appreciate, I love, I look for what is alive and beautiful. I feel life and I am aware of my experience of pleasure. I experience firsthand the mystery of the universe. I engage to my fullest capacity in the adventure of living. I need not go to a museum to see art hung on a wall today because I am surrounded by art. It is my perception that turns any single moment into a work of art, that elevates and celebrates the ordinary. Why should I not be a philosopher about life or go through my day with the eye of an artist? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I behold beauty.
We should feel that it is wonderful to be in this world.
How wonderful it is to see yellow, blue and green, purple
and black! All of these colors are provided for us. We feel
hot and cold; we taste sweet and sour. We have these
sensations and we deserve them. They are good.
